This bag has the taste of adventure, of long days, of great journeys, of pedalling without rushing, for the joy of getting lost and finding yourself again. It takes you back and makes you feel like one of those adventurous members of the Rough-Stuff Fellowship who rediscovered the world pedalling in the 60s and 70s. It smells also, let's not forget, of pushing the bike uphill a bit because "that road looked cyclable on the map" or "I didn't remember that path being so broken".
Our updated version of the legendary Carradice bag. Similar in shape, but with a handful of updates:
-Roll-top closure under flap.
-Zippered side pockets.
-Anchorage much more resistant to abuse and water.
-Extendable top lid.
-Triple fastening: one central g-hook and two cam lock g-hook buckles.
-Bottom in 1000D Cordura and reinforced with hypalon.
We designed this bag with easy access and a reasonable capacity for a leisurely and enjoyable ride in mind, 10/12L. Plenty of room for a few just in case items and those small town shop raids when you're super hungry.
However, we wanted to keep the size contained for gravel drop handlebars. Keeping it agile and manoeuvrable on rougher and more technical terrain. Approximate dimensions: 32 x 16 x 22 cm (W x D x H)
Warning:
-Sold with two handlebar straps and bottom strap + two pairs of spacers to provide clearance between the bag and the handlebars.
–Unless you have a lot of space between the wheel and handlebars, this bag is designed to be used with some kind of rack or lower support, and can even be adapted to a Brooks type saddle.
-Once you install it on your bike, you'll use it even to go to the grocery shop on your city bike. We've experienced this.
