X-Pac® VX21
Manufactured by Dimension-Polyant, it is a multilayer construction fabric that combines several properties that make it really suitable for making bikepacking bags, backpacks and other technical accessories: Abrasion resistant, tear resistant, 100% waterproof, durable, structurally very stable and lightweight (only 205g / m2).
Made from the union of an outer layer of 210D Nylon, an intermediate layer of X-PLY fibers, which gives it its characteristic diamonds, and a thin inner layer of clear polyester taffeta that allows a fine and precise work of this fabric. .
Dimension-Polyant only manufactures in Germany and the US powered by 100% renewable energy, emitting VOC's free air and offsetting its carbon footprint.
X-Pac® X10 Cotton duck
Similar in performance to the X-Pac VX21, its cotton outer layer gives it that more classic aesthetic. Keeping its characteristics intact of impermeability and resistance. Its main differences with respect to the VX21 are:

EcoPak™ EPX200
The most ecological alternative. With a similar multilayer construction as X-Pac, this fabric focuses on making the elements and manufacturing processes more sustainable:
Outer layer of 200D polyester of 100% recycled origin and 97% UV resistant.
Fibers of recycled origin in 45º CrossPly
White 70D interior ripstop, Repreve® polyester
Waterproof DWR treatment, free of PFCs
Adhesive solvents free of volatile organic compounds, VOCs.
In terms of weight, EcoPak ™ EPX200 is very similar to the X-Pac VX21, 200g / m2. As well as its resistance to abrasion.
CORDURA® 500D
Nylon fabric with polyurethane coating on the inside to give it waterproofing.
Cordura is synonymous with durability and abrasion resistance. Three times more durable than other nylons.
Somewhat heavier than the X-Pac VX21, with 240g / m2, it is one of the most recommended fabrics for making bikepacking and cycling bags.
CORDURA® 1000D
Even more resistant than its 500D sister, with a weight of 350g / m2.
We use this fabric only for the points of greatest abrasion, such as in some areas of our saddle bag.
Maybe this is your option if your project is to go around the world.
Nylon 210D PU-coated
For the inside of the bags, we use this light and resistant nylon.
The yellow color allows you to clearly see the contents of the bags. While blue is more discreet.
Rain resistance and water tightness
Our bags are made exclusively with waterproof fabrics, therefore they are highly resistant to rain. However, being a sewn fabric product, they are not 100% watertight.
